The Story

TEB is a five-piece Americana and jam-rock band from Bend, Oregon, led by songwriter Travis Ehrenstrom. Their original songs blend folk storytelling with funk and jam-band grooves — campfire warmth with enough improvisation to make every show different from the last.

Travis grew up in Sisters, Oregon, picked up a guitar at fourteen, and was opening for the Blind Boys of Alabama at Les Schwab Amphitheater before he finished high school. The years that followed took him across the country: national tours as a solo artist and multi-instrumentalist, a stint in Seattle playing in Noah Gundersen’s band The Courage, and stages shared with Josh Ritter, The Head and the Heart, and Portugal. The Man. His 2013 solo record Remain A Mystery earned acclaim as one of Central Oregon’s top releases of the year.

In 2017, Travis came home to Bend and assembled a band of longtime friends — Patrick Pearsall on bass, Kyle Pickard on drums, Conner Bennett on lead guitar, and Patrick Ondrozeck on keys. The lineup hit its stride with the 2018 album Something on the Surface and became a fixture of the Pacific Northwest festival circuit, with appearances at Sisters Folk Festival, 4 Peaks, and Cascade Equinox. A steady run of releases followed, including Hollinshead (2023) and Lady Luck (2024), recorded live in a living room to capture the band’s on-stage chemistry.

The next chapter arrives this winter with There Is Only Now, a new full-length solo album from Travis due out in late 2026. Whether it’s an intimate solo set or a full-band festival throwdown, the music stays anchored in the same place it started: community, the Pacific Northwest, and a whole lot of heart.
